Future additions to Glacier Geckos
Texas Banded Geckos
Texas Banded Geckos are a species that are native to the United States. As adults they are only three to four inches long. This smal size makes them a gecko that is not easily handleable and should be a geckos to look at in a nice terrarium. They are similar in appearance to leopard geckos and enjoy very sililar habitats. Along with habitat and appearance, the diet of these geckos is also very similar to that of Leopard Geckos. We have been able to keep these guys going on small crickets, meal worms, and lesser waxworms.
After a great deal of time and searching we have finally become the new home to a trio of Texas Banded Geckos! These Geckos are very similar in care to leopard geckos, but are a fraction of the size. We hope to be able to have some babies from this group in the next year as we will be working to start a breeding colony of these little guys. As time progresses it is hoped that we will be able to offer limited numbers for sale.
Thanks to Chris Drake for this great little group of geckos!

Central American Banded Geckos
Central American Banded Geckos, like the Texas Banded Geckos are native to the Americas. The difference with these little geckos is that they enjoy a more humid tropical habitat. They have are a darker gecko in coloration than Texas Banded or Leopard Geckos so this makes them an interestin addition to our projects.
Thanks to Chris Drake and Rainforest station for these guys!

African Fat Tail Geckos
African Fat Tail Geckos are the new up and comer of geckos. Many new morphs and morph combinations are making this gecko one of the more popular geckos right now. They like to have a more humid habitat and usually are kept on some sort of moss mix. This is the only difference in care from Leopard Geckos, although it is very similar to Central American Banded Geckos. We hope to establish our own breeding colony next season.
